Not all that much exciting here.  A pretty low key holiday weekend.  Doing some knitting watching TV and relaxing.  My dogs were sick for a few days but that are feeling good now and are full of energy.  My husky knocked me over yesterday and now I have two scuffed up knees and a big bruise on my chin, fun stuff.  She didn't mean it of course she was just very excited to go outside I guess.
Still recovering from surgery, it sure is a long slow process some times.  I have found some projects to keep me busy though and that really helps.

So I was able to make it through 2 days of the class ( at least most of it on each day ).  So now I know how to crochet I think that most of what we learned were the basics for the pattern that we were doing but now when knitting patterns call for crochet edges, I think I can do it!  So that was my big accomplishment yesterday and the day before.  Today I am recouping from tha acccomplishment and have been sleeping on and off all morning.  Well worth it though I was going stir crazy in the house and getting out a couple days did me a world of good, even though I am tired.
Now I have these 2 projects to finish up and then I will agin try and put them in as pictures.  If not I will email them to someone who knows how.

So I did get to see March of the Penguins it was good, I missed the last 1/3 because I fell asleep sp I may go back who knows.  learning how to crochet tonight, never took the time before but there are beautiful Hawaiin leis (not sure on the spelling there) that are a crochet pattern and an instructer who is my friend so I can try the class and if I don't think I can make it through the whole thing I can pick it up again with her at another point.  So I better take a nap before the class.

Bed Rest Sucks.  That is what I have to say after only a week of it, I don't know how somw pregnant women can do it for months, I guess because they have to is the only answer.  I think that I have watched every movie that plays on the movie channels at lesat once, read a couple books, and feel left out of so much-because I can't do it you know?  That is just my brain working overtime and feeling sorry for myself though.  I go back to the surgeon today and I am hoping that he has good news and I an move around a bit.
I so want to go see March of the Penguins!!  And there is a lot to be done in the house-not that I am looking forward to that but the longer it acumulates the harder it will be in rhe end.  So I am crossing my fingers that he releases me soon!

I am getting so lonely and bored of being at home, this time it is because I am on bedrest practically, so I have knit a little and also done some beadwork necklaces.  They are fun and a new craft to throw in there.  I had signed up for a crochet class on the 25th of this month but we will see if I can go (pray that I am able to get out of bed way before that).  I have some extra help until the 18th my in laws came down to help out and so did my older brother (he has left now though).  It is strange how when you have too much help extra stress is involved!!!  I am fine now though almost back to normal house wise.  In fact my mother in law stayed at her other sons house last night and I missed her help this morning I am sure that the flock did too (they are spoiled by grandma).  Other than that unfortunately I have nothing exciting to write.

Harry Potter
Did finish the new Harry Potter a while ago, I am not sure how I felt about it.  The last 1/4 was the pace the other books were the entire ime I felt, the ending was sad as I see most know now, I do realize all that backup info needed to be in this book in order to prepare us for the last of the series.

Knitting
Still working on super huge afghan (llama wool and a ribbon accent novelty yarn), and a fun scarf with a ton of texture, very raw funky wool.  Then the new thing that I have put the knitting beside for is making beaded neckalaces.

Husky
My Siberian is sick I believe, I am taking her to another vet for a second opinion (more realistically, my husband is) though because the first wasn't concerned at this point.  This is gross but every morning for about 4 days now she throws up bile as soon as she goes outside to do her morning pee.  She eats grass to induce it but something must be off for her to do that I imagine.  She is maintaining weight and if I can get a biscuit or something in her first she seems fine, but on an empty stomach she has problems.  She rufused the biscuit today so again she threw up.  Any thoughts there?  I am concerned.

Birds
All of my flock are happy that thier mama is home again full time for a week or two and are great to sing and play with, that could be the best medicine yet, that no Dr could perscribe.
